Andy Greenawalt

Andy has been dubbed a “technology guru” for his innovative thinking and uncanny ability to simplify complex processes and build a vision of tomorrow - today. As the founder and CTO of Perimeter eSecurity, a role he held for 10 years, Andy invented security in the cloud and pioneered it as a service industry. His experience at Perimeter gave him insight to the compliance burden that community financial institutions face, and inspired him to develop a solution to solve this growing problem. He studied philosophy and linguistics at UMass Amherst and is an Entrepreneur Partner at CTech.

Jim Kisch

co-founder and chief strategy officer


In his career as a banker, Jim has served as the CEO of Business IQ, President of the MBA Consulting Group and CTO for the Minnesota Bankers Association. Further, Jim’s experience includes time spent as a bank CFO, CIO and as an instructor at the Graduate School of Banking, Colorado and Wisconsin. With more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, Jim brings his insider’s perspective to the challenge of reducing the compliance burden. His intimate industry knowledge makes him a key part to the success of Continuity Control as our Chief Banker-in-Residence. He holds a B.S. in Economics from U of M - Minneapolis and a degree from the Graduate School of Banking, UW-Madison.


Alan Hurwitz

Alan brings a foundation in Big 4 public accounting and over 25 years of experience managing the financial affairs of public and privately held businesses, with a focus on increasing profits and enterprise value.  His accomplishments include building and selling a technology company for 15x the purchase price; raising over $50 million in funding, and developing strong financial and risk management systems. Following his role as audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Alan managed internal audit and spun a company out of Duracell.  A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Alan is also a CPA and co-founder of the CFO Knowledge Network™.

Pam Perdue

EVP, regulatory operations


Pam is a distinguished regulatory expert with over 20 years of experience in compliance. In her career, Pam has served as a chief compliance officer, an educator and consultant for regional and national organizations, and as a Senior Examiner with the Federal Reserve. Her extensive knowledge of compliance, both as a consultant and an examiner, has made her an essential component to the success of Continuity. She is an alumna of The Ohio State University and holds certifications from the American Institute of Banking and the Dearborn Financial Institute and has completed the rigorous Federal Reserve System Examiner Commissioning Program, equivalent to a banking M.B.A.


Pete Rawlinson

chief marketing officer & svp of sales 


Pete brings more than 20 years of financial technology marketing experience to Continuity, previously working with tech companies such as Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and IBM.  He has spent over 10 years working with financial services companies in NYC and London to create and execute successful B2B marketing plans.  Prior to Continuity, Pete was CMO of virtualization technology company AppSense where he helped grow the company from a local UK business to an international category-creator.  At Continuity, Pete leads all marketing activities and helps guide the strategic direction of the business.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Sheffield University in the UK.

Christopher Dircks

SVP, client strategy


Drawing on experience and skills built in startup, regulated and fast-paced SaaS environments, Chris joins the Client Strategy team to enhance the delivery of Continuity services and maximize value for our clients. As part of successful B2B SaaS engagements in logistics and operational efficiencies, Chris developed and implemented best practice programs in Software Development, Project Management, Strategy Development and Client Relations for Pfizer, Pitney-Bowes and Cox Communications. These best practices are the foundation for his team's rollout of Continuity's One Page Strategy program, which provides Continuity clients with a clear, value-driven, strategic roadmap for the partnership.


Bob Michaud

EVP, client operations


Bob’s broad banking and IT experience spans over 30 years and includes several management positions, most notably senior vice president at Fiserv, Inc. While at Fiserv, Bob led an experienced team for the audit, risk and compliance group of Bank Solutions and consistently met & exceeded the regulatory requirements for the account processing division, including 9 Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements, 19 SOC engagements and 15 FFIEC exams annually.  Bob has an expert understanding of banking operations, compliance and regulations and excels in delivering solutions with a measurable ROI.

Jason Miceli

SVP, product


Jason is a User Experience (UX) professional with 15+ years experience leading Product Management, Project Management and Operations. He served as President of ProductCamp Boston for several years and is an active industry leader, writing articles for security magazines and presenting on emerging tech topics at Bentley University, BostonCHI, and other conferences.  Prior to joining the company, Jason led Product and Project Management at several companies including Perimeter eSecurity, where he and his team grew a portfolio of 50+ products blending security technology with professional services.  


Joel Nimety

SVP, engineering


Joel’s experience spans over 10 years in software architecture. Before joining Continuity, he was a senior product architect at Perimeter eSecurity. While at Perimeter, Joel designed and administered the Perimeter Email Gateway, and authored MailSafe, a transparent encrypted email solution. In his role as the SVP of Engineering, Joel has led a team of engineers through the development and implementation of Continuity Control and its primary infrastructure. Further, he has introduced fully automated systems to integrate operations, including a migration to the Ruby on Rails platform and Amazon Web Services. Joel carries a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, is an active Open Source advocate and contributor, and is a co-founder and co-organizer of and NewHaven.rb..

Rik Vandevenne 

Director, River Cities Capital Fund

Rik joined River Cities in 2004 and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunties and working with executives in portfolio companies on marketing, sales execution, product development and strategy.  Prior to his private equity career, Rik gained experience working with venture backed companies in the strategy group of Scient, a global eBusiness consulting firm.  Before Scient, Rik worked for four years at Accenture, first in the healthcare services group and then at the Internet Center of Excellence where he helped launch several venture-backed companies, as well as worked on the team that developed the online music platform for BestBuy.  Rik serves on the boards of Continuity, ABT Molecular Imaging, EndoChoice and Univa and was previously an observer on the board of Fullscope (sold to Edgewater (nasdaq: EDGW) in 2009.


Michael D. Nicastro 

Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, COCC

Mike is a thirty-year veteran of the banking and financial technology industries. Prior to joining Connecticut Online Computer Center (COCC) as Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, he held the position of President & CEO of the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce. During his 14 year tenure at Open Solutions, Mike served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer through their rapid growth. He spent 10 years with National Cash Register (NCR), as the National Product Manager of Platform/Branch Automation. While there, Mr. Nicastro was one of 15 employees worldwide to win the "Chairman's Customer Satisfaction Award". Mike spent the nine years prior to NCR working in the banking industry with Connecticut based Bristol Savings Bank, as well as New York based Citicorp.

Peter Longo 

Senior Managing Director, Investments, Connecticut Innovations

Peter has spent nearly 20 years in numerous roles at CI. Peter is currently responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, structuring investments and monitoring portfolio companies at CI. Peter’s past CI investments include: Achillion Pharmaceuticals (IPO), CYA Technologies (acquired by enChoice), NeuVis (acquired by Rational Software), Nufern (acquired by Rofin-Sinar), Cardium Health (acquired by Centene), SilverSky and Post-N-Track. He also serves on the board of the YEI Innovation Fund, the UConn Prototype Fund and serves on the UConn Patent review committee.


Carl Blandino 

Chief Financial Officer, Diligent Board Member Services, Inc.

Carl has been Chief Financial Officer of Diligent Board Member Services, Inc. since May 2013. He has many years of financial, operating and public accounting experience at several private and public high technology and software companies. He also spent over 10 years in public accounting in various management positions with Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte Haskins & Sells, both international public accounting firms. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Blandino received a BS degree in Finance & Accounting from Robert Morris College. He has been a board member at Continuity since July of 2012.
